Evterpi Music is a free music education website with a purpose to aid and inspire everyone, everywhere. There is no limit with Evterpi Music - we are easily accessible, with our website available on all computers and smartphones. We also have a Twitter and Instagram account, and a Facebook page for you to keep in touch with us.
Evterpi Music was founded by Theodora Martineos in August, 2016. Theodora is a young, aspiring musician with a passion for music and inspiring others. She hopes to provide guidance for beginners and help them gain confidence throughout their learning experience.
The name Evterpi Music was derived from the Greek Muse, Euterpe (pronounced: Evterpi) in ancient Greek mythology. Euterpe was the goddess muse of music, lyrics and poetry. Theodora, growing up with a Greek background, has always been interested in Greek history and culture as well as music and mythology. This led her towards the perfect name for the site - Evterpi Music.
